madan just came back from india on sat morning. reached home at 7. brushed teeth and ran out of the house. guess where. yes, you got it rite, sat morning training at macritchie. haha..i know some ppl will call madan crazy. but tt's the reason y i exist, so dun go tell him anything.
india trip was good. very busy. visiting relatives. going shopping for clothes (madan got around 5 shirts, a couple of long pants, and a pair of jeans! and 3 t-shirts from our uncle's factory. he made t-shirts for next year's fifa world cup in germany, but all shipped when we went there. asked him to look for rejects and send together with the sample t-shirts he's making for billabong. how? cool or not?). shopping for other ppl wasn't tt fruitful. =(
haha..anyway, madan learnt how to drive a manual car there! how hot is that?? he needs to work on changing the gears. (getting the car to start moving in 1st gear. also, he keeps forgetting to shift down when reducing speed.) maybe improve his parking skills. all he needs to do now is just practice his driving. he drove his uncle's car on the highway. went all the way up to 80kmph! but tt's different from city driving which is a lot slower. (barely goes above 40kmph) need to practice more with the real heavy traffic, and pedestrians who keep trying to get under your tyres. and dun forget the killer potholes in the ground! they keep trying to sink your car so that the bottom really scrapes the road. like he din hav enough practice in the 16 classes he attended. anyway, driving is still cool. can't wait to get the licence in singapore. (he din get his licence in india. onli went for classes to learn driving.) btw, did he mention tt it only cost him Rs. 850? converted to sing dollars, tt's abt 30 bucks. is that cheap or is that cheap? around here, tt would be for 2, maybe 3, classes?
he also went sightseeing. a couple of dams and a nature reserve called Top Slips. soo cold up there in the mountains, morning was so misty could only see about 15 metres in front of you. and so prettiful! all those flowers and green trees on the mountain side. din get to see any elephants though. tt was the main purpose of the visit. there were deer, wild boar and other stuff tt i forget alredi! my only grief was that most of the 2 days was spent in the van driving to and from the place. there were so many hairpin bends on the way up the mountain, i thought we were all gonna fall off.
training today was fast run at pandan reservoir. supposed to pace WLng. he's j1 next yr. he's not bad. but needs to get more rest. he's not really in tt great shape now. he was coughin up phlegm throughout the whole run. still, madan did a pretty bad job at keeping pace. madan himself din hit target of 25:30. was 25:32. and thanks to him, WLng was 25:46. though it was an improvement from his timing last wk, how much worse do u think madan can pace. i'm disappointed in him. y can't he ever do something tt mr Q tells him to do properly?

30 bucks would pay for abt half a lesson. (:
