was just improving so much these past 2 weeks. tue did the 500,400,300,200,100 again. this time there was Nab. timings improved and din feel as tired as the 1st time, but madan was in front of Nab only for the 200 and 100. mr Q wants him to stop thinking tt he's slower than Nab and push in front of him. dun hold urself back. listen to him madan. he wants you to go in front of Nab. and why not. he wants madan to start 56s 400m sessions soon. this is quite a significant bit faster than in sec 4, when mr Alj got madan and ZC to do 400m intervals at 59-60s. i think tt time it was 2-4 intervals. cannot remember the rest time. but i remember ZY, the legendary ZY, ZC's elder brother, joining us at the 200m of one of the intervals. we finished way below the pace for tt one. and at that time, madan was not scared. he did not think tt ZC was better than him. he was willing to push himself to stay with ZC. although he only managed a meagre 5th for the finals while ZC nearly got the gold. but he has to get back tt spirit.
today's session kinda killed madan. 3 sets of 4x130m. he only managed to complete 2 sets. Nab too. Nab was really dying last 2-3 130's. target 16.25s, according to DY's brilliant mathematics skills. last 2 madan did 17+s. his abs were killing him for those 2. kinda like recurrance of what happened at the mile on sat. but tt was lactic. this was pain. why must this happen now? maybe it's the strain of having so many sessions this wk. maybe it's coz of not being able to get restful sleep at night. keep waking up, to go to the toilet, drink water, too cold, wear blanket, too hot, take off blanket. and receiving messages in the middle of the night. sometimes madan tries to reply, half-conscious. can take him 10 min to construct a reply tt makes sense. most of the time, he falls asleep while reading the message halfway.
but he was still ahead of Nab. for once (twice this time).
and listen to mr Q. look up. run past the line. dun slow down before you reach the line. jog immediately after the run, get the lactic out of the system, to recover faster.
